“I totally enjoyed this week” , ” I am sure I copy some of your ideas when I work in the real world “ “ and “ See you in Asia “ were 3 of the many comments I found on the evaluation sheets the student completed after my yearly week-long lecture “ Marketing and Sales: Do or Die “.Being invited to Freiburg is always pleasure and, combined with the foresight of bringing lecturers with practical and academic experience, it clearly shows the extraordinary professionalism behind this curriculum.
Lecturing this future generation on the basics of Marketing in Tourism is specifically gratifying while these students are the ones that soon will be in the “front-line”, consulting the customers and, hopefully, serving them satisfactorily.
Having lived and worked in Asia for over 20 years, I enjoy giving my lectures an Asian angle and therefore widen the horizon of these students, it will show them where the future lies and how they can capitalize on the sound education they get at the ANGELL Akademie.
And, last but not least, meeting again with some of the alumni while I travel in Asia gives me the satisfaction of having been able to make a difference in the lives of some of the students.
And that’s what education is all about …
